Since 2006, events with the status of official have been held for fans. The events are held in the framework of the international festival of fans in the respective countries of the host cities of the 2018 FIFA world Cup in conjunction with the Organizing committees. 2018 will be marked by the festival of football fans in Sochi. This will be the main event of many who came to relax in the resort capital of Russia. The event will be held on the Central square of the Sochi seaport (southern Pier) in the period from June 14 to July 15. It is still unknown whether the festival will be held on non-gaming days.
