The meeting of the Organizing Committee for the forum was held on 03.06 in Moscow. Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, heads the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the all-Russian investment forum.
In addition to preparations for the future Forum, the meeting discussed the results of 2019. During the discussion, many organizational nuances were approved, including the preparation of the infrastructure and the forum site of the Krasnodar territory and Sochi itself.
Dmitry Kozak noted:
The organizing Committee of the Russian investment forum approved the dates of the event on February 12-14, 2020. The forum will be held in the Main media center of the Olympic Park in Sochi. A lot of work is to be done to prepare the site and the city infrastructure, launch the invitation campaign, form the concept of the business program and exhibition of the regions within the framework of the Forum.
Executive Secretary Anton Kobyakov (Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation) took part in the meeting of the Committee. He expressed the opinion that the Forum has become an effective platform for attracting investments. In addition, he noted:
This is a significant business event, a platform for dialogue between representatives of business and government of Russian regions with the participation of international experts of world importance. Last year, the Forum was attended by more than 8,000 delegates, including representatives of 65 foreign countries. The number of participants increased by 30% compared to 2018. The forum provides an opportunity for the regions to demonstrate their investment attractiveness, to find optimal ways of cooperation with Russian and foreign investors.

The main achievements are highlighted in 15 paragraphs, which were formed as a result of key discussions. Employees of the Institute of regional Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, members of the expert Council of the North Caucasus center for strategic studies (at the Kuban state University) and employees of the North-Western Institute of management of the Russian Academy of public service and national economy under the President of the Russian Federation were involved in the preparation of the final materials.
